All website content uploaded to our servers is our client's responsibility. It is up to our clients to be certain that they have cleared any copyright issues.
 

Transferring Domain Name Registration

If you want a one stop shop - your hosting account AND your domain name registration(s) carefully managed by our competent Hosti team it is possible to transfer the registration of your existing domain name over to us.  Simply provide your current registry logins and we will arrange the transfer for Free. 

Remember: As a Hosti hosting customer your domain name registration fees are slashed by 50%. Pay only $46.75 for two years on any dot AU name or just $33 for two years on a gtld ( eg dot COM) name registration.

 
Changing hosting provider - the process and how we can help

In general it is up to the client to ensure that you have an uploadable copy of your site contents to load onto our server when the move is made…except… with a site that  already uses cpanel hosting. In this case we can move the entire site seamlessly using the cpanel logins from your former server to our Hosti servers.

Moving your site content can be done as soon as you sign up with us and before the
nameservers are delegated to us so that as a new client you can check that everything is working fine first. It is also possible to keep all emails working during a hosting switch-over, however this must be planned for in advance.

Should a situation arise where the original content has been “lost”  we can sometimes arrange for your website content to be moved using programming tools. Our development team charge a fee based on the number of pages and databases involved in the transfer.

We provide Linux hosting and so anyone using Windows Data-based hosting can generally only be moved to us after making changes to the site content.

We have successfully transferred large numbers of Windows-based clients to our Soholaunch package which has the advantage, that after the move,  you have autonomy over making changes to your site content without resorting to web designers each time. There is moderate developer fee for setting up a Soholaunch client who was once a Windows client.

Myths and problems you may encounter

By using our experienced programmers most things are possible. Please ask our development team if you have a question about moving a site. The only reason that you  might not be able to move your site to us would be if you have a customized content management system that is attached to either your webdesigner or your host.

Our Soho and other Fantastico sites  are interchangeable between hosting companies and you will never be held captive to our services!
